This is Gold Star Studio,LLC
When you work with Cat, you’re not 'just' getting an expert project manager who is interested in helping creatives.
You’re getting someone who is in the studio alongside you, who has experienced the obstacles and blocks that can plague artists. Cat lives on the narrow balance between creating and everyday obligations. she has written more art applications than she’s won, because she believes a stack of "Not This Time" is better than not taking action at all.
She excels at bridging communication gaps by translating between creatives and their stakeholders (sales teams, C-suite, etc.).
Cat’s successful corporate career has spanned over 15 years concentrated in creative project management for marketing teams. She's done a lot of everything, including coordinating thousands of knit and crochet designs for Coat's & Clark's Red Heart Yarns. She's planned, packed, AND was friendly during trade shows. She has seamlessly transitioned teams to new software platforms at global corporations like JELD-WEN, along with producing photoshoots and scheduling freelance crews. Working with all levels of business, she's reduced revision rounds while leading a creative marketing team of designers and writers.
All the while, she has nurtured a thriving artistic practice. Her work has been exhibited in various group and solo shows, including ArtFields, Charlotte International Arts Festival (CIAF), Good Year Arts, and ArtPop Street Gallery. She has been a recipient of the ASC Artist Support Grant and is a 2026 Emerging Creator Fellow.
In a nutshell:
When she says she gets shit done, she means it.
