Update time

When I launched The Gold Star Studio last year I was overwhelmed with what to offer. I spent hours pouring over math, building packages, trying to be fair to my time and your budgets. I threw everything I had up on the site, leaning heavily on the mantra that "done is better than perfect". I needed to live with it for a while, to spend time figuring out what it is y'all really need, and how that aligned with the support I can offer.

Time went on, I tried writing about everything that happened in my art world and project management brain over on Substack. That went well for a while, but I still need/want to talk about Listowel, the art shows rapidly coming up in June, and all the other adventures, side quests, and play time in the studio.

Somewhere in the middle of all that, while traveling, I realized I had gone overboard. Too many packages, too many options being offered here at Gold Star. The work was worth doing, I have baselines to work from. But really, what I want to do is tailor my skills directly to your needs. No one artist or organization is the same, so it doesn't make sense to offer cookie cutter packages.

The site has just been updated to reflect that. Want to work with me? Shoot me a message, my contact info is all over the pages. That's what really matters, that's what lights me up, connecting the dots with someone who can't quite find them all.

I'm ready for this new and improved chapter. I've got a ebook coming soon, and some workshops to go along with it.
